Bill in dollars and shekels. From the same app.

For Americans, Brits, Canadians, and Aussies running service businesses from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Modi'in, or anywhere else in Israel. CRM, invoicing, time tracking, books, and a calendar — with USD and ILS treated as first-class citizens, English-first, and an AI agent that runs the back office while you sleep.

Made in Tel Aviv · USD + ILS native · English-first · No card required

The trap you're probably in.

Two walls, no door. Until now.

The US tool wall

HoneyBook, Bonsai, FreshBooks — they think the world is a dollar.

Built USD-first. ILS support is afterthought-level (or nonexistent). Your Israeli clients get invoiced in dollars with awkward conversion notes. Your books show one currency even though half your work is in another. Time-zone settings assume you're in California.

The Israeli tool wall

Greeninvoice, iCount, Rivhit — Hebrew-first, US-clients second.

Excellent at Heshbonit Mas. Less excellent if your day-to-day is in English, your team is on Slack in English, your clients are in New York and Berlin, and you'd rather not navigate a dashboard you can't reverse-engineer at midnight. Pipeline and CRM features are usually thin.

OttoHey Otto — the bridge

English-first interface. Native dual-currency from line one — USD and ILS as primary and secondary, live FX, invoices in whichever currency the client agreed to. Calendar that knows Asia/Jerusalem and America/New_York. An AI agent that handles the busywork in plain English. Pair with your bookkeeper for ITA reporting; do everything else here.

Four reasons we fit your stack.

USD and ILS, both primary.

Set USD as your dashboard currency and ILS as secondary (or vice versa). Every deal, invoice, and report can display both. Live FX rates auto-update. Per-deal currency override means a single client can have a USD retainer and an ILS hourly project simultaneously.

English-first, no compromises.

Built for English-speaking operators end to end. Otto speaks English. The dashboard, settings, support, and onboarding are English. Your clients see invoices in whatever language the template uses (Hebrew templates supported on the road map; English by default).

Time zones that actually work.

Asia/Jerusalem natively. Calendar events, deal due dates, and Otto's daily briefings respect the time zone you set. Schedule a Tuesday-10am kickoff with a New York client and Otto sends the calendar invite at the right local time on each side.

Global by default — not by configuration.

Some incumbents make you click through three settings panels to enable non-USD invoicing or non-US time zones. Hey Otto assumes international from setup wizard onward. Multi-currency, calendar sync, and PDF templates are international by default.

What we don't do (yet).

We are not a turnkey replacement for Greeninvoice or iCount if your single biggest need is ITA-compliant Heshbonit Mas invoices in the gov-required format. We don't ship that yet. Most Anglo-Israeli operators we've spoken to handle Heshbonit Mas through their bookkeeper or a dedicated Israeli invoicing tool, and use Hey Otto for everything else: pipeline, client communication, beautifully designed international invoices, time tracking, and the books ledger.

We also don't ship payroll, Bituach Leumi reporting, or VAT filing. Those belong with your accountant.

When we have enough Israeli operators using us to do compliance right, we'll ship it natively. If this is a blocker for you, tell us — that prioritizes it.

Things people ask.

Does Hey Otto support both USD and ILS?

Yes — and any other currency you need. Set USD as your primary currency and ILS as secondary (or vice versa), and every deal, invoice, and report can show both. Otto pulls in live FX rates for you. PDF invoices can be issued in either currency, per client.

Is the interface in English or Hebrew?

English. The product is designed English-first, which matches how most Anglo-Israeli operators actually work — your clients are usually international, your tools are in English, and Hebrew localization adds friction without value for this segment. (We may add Hebrew later if there is demand.)

Can I issue Israeli Heshbonit Mas (חשבונית מס) invoices that meet ITA requirements?

Honest answer: not as a turnkey ITA-compliant invoice format yet. You can issue beautifully designed PDF invoices in any currency including ILS, and most Anglo-Israeli operators we have spoken to handle the ITA-required Heshbonit Mas separately through their bookkeeper or a dedicated Israeli invoicing tool (Greeninvoice, iCount, etc.). We will ship native compliance when we have enough Israeli customers to do it well — sign up and tell us if this is a blocker.

How does Hey Otto handle time zones for clients across the Atlantic?

Time-zone aware throughout. Calendar events, deal due dates, and Otto's daily briefings respect the time zone you set. When you schedule a kickoff for "Tuesday at 10", Otto asks (or remembers) which time zone — then shows the right time to you and the right time on the calendar invite for your client.

Will my American clients see weird currency formatting?

No. Invoices are issued in the currency the client agreed to pay in (USD for US clients, ILS for Israeli clients, EUR for European, etc.) with locale-correct formatting. Your dashboard stays in your primary display currency.

Do you integrate with Israeli bookkeeping or payroll tools?

Not directly yet. Bank statement import works on PDF or CSV exports from any bank (including Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, Discount, Mizrahi-Tefahot) — Otto parses transactions and dedupes against existing records. Most operators export bank data monthly and let Otto reconcile it.

Where is Hey Otto based?

Tel Aviv. The company (Hey Otto Ltd.) is Israeli; the data is hosted on multi-tenant Supabase infrastructure. Founder is local and the product is shaped around what Anglo-Israeli operators actually need.

Is there a free plan I can try before I commit?

Yes. Free plan, 1 user, unlimited contacts, light agent use, USD only. Multi-currency unlocks at the Solo plan ($29/mo). Full free trial of paid features available — no credit card to start.
